The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has initiated the process to confiscate properties of Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi, days after the promulgation of the Fugitive Economic Offenders Ordinance.
According to reports, the ED has decided to approach various special anti-money laundering courts in the country seeking that Mallya, Modi and Choksi be declared fugitives who had defied non-bailable arrest warrants to stay put abroad and to get orders issued against them under the new ordinance.
