The Enforcement Directorate, ED is quzzing former Air Force chief SP Tyagi today in connection with the AgustaWestland chopper deal. The financial probe agency is investigating the money laundering angle in the case. ED has also summoned cousins of Tyagi after his round of questioning is over besides realty firm Emaar MGF’s owner Shravan Gupta. SP Tyagi was interrogated by CBI for three consecutive days.
Meanwhile, CBI is questioning former Air Vice Marshal NV Tyagi today at it’s headquarters in New Delhi. Today, CBI will also grill lawyer Gautam Khaitan for the second day. Khaitan is a former Board member of company Aeromatrix which was allegedly used to route the bribe amount in the chopper deal.
