Enforcement Directorate has arrested former Bihar Chief minister Lalu Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti’s chartered accountant Rajesh Agarwal in 8,000 crore rupees money trail scam.
According to All India radio quoting official media quoting ED sources reports, Mr Agarwal will be produced before a Delhi court. Earlier this month, Income Tax department conducted raids and surveys at dozen locations in Delhi and adjoining areas in connection with alleged benami deals of 1,000 crore rupees by the family members of Lalu Yadav.
The IT department searched people and businessmen connected to the land deals involving Lalu Prasad and his family over allegations of benami land deals and subsequent tax evasion.
