In a brutal incident two girls have been gangraped in Motihari district of Bihar. A 12 year girl was gang-raped near her village when she went to pluck mangoes from the orchard.

She is fighting for her life in Patna Medical College and Hospital. She had to undergo a surgery and is said to be stable.

The police have arrested two men in the case. Meanwhile girl’s family has alleged that they are being forced to withdraw the police case.

Social activist and lawyer Rani Verma met with victim and her family and has assured them of every possible help to get justice from the victim.In another grisly incident, 21 year old girl was raped when she was out in the field.

It is reported that one of the accused molested her and recorded a video of it. The girl reported this to the police.

Angered over this the accused and four men from his family, returned and gangraped her again.

They then left her on the side of a road, assuming that she was dead. But the girl regained consciousness and got the attention of cops patrolling nearby.

She was admitted to Motihari Sadar Hospital in a critical condition. The accused are absconding. Family of the girl are knocking every possible door in the hope of getting justice for the victim.

These two incidents are a tale of apathy state government is showing towards law and order situation in the state.

The bad law and order are reflecting in the boosted morales of criminals, while poor and weaker section of the society is finding themselves at the receiving end.
