Many senior leaders of different political parties on Sunday held door to door campaign, small rallies and digital rallies to woo the voters in Uttar Pradesh.
Senior BJP leaders like JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani, Shobha Karandlanje, Ashwini Chaube, Yogi Adityanath, Swatantra Dev Singh and Keshav Prasad Maurya campaigned for the party candidates in different districts. Campaigning for party candidates in Kasganj district, senior BJP leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that BJP is the party which fulfills its manifesto and does not do politics in the name of religion. Senior Congress leader and Chief minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel held door to door campaign for Congress candidates in Meerut district which another Congress leader Hardik Patel campaigned in Varanasi.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav along with RLD chief Jayant Chaudhari jointly addressed a press conference in Hapur district today. Mr Yadav promised that his party will provide employment on the lines of MGNREGA by implementing urban employment guarantee Act.
