“Divya Kala Shakti: Witnessing Ability in Disability” organised by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in New Delhi

Divyang children from different parts of the country today enthralled top dignitaries of the country through their superb performance at a cultural programme at parliament House campus.
The cultural evening ‘Divya Kala Shakti – Divyangta Mein Kshamta Ka Pradarshan’ was organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in the Balayogi Auditorium of parliament house campus.
The President of India Mr. Ram Nath Kovind was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Vice-President of India & Chairman Rajya Sabha Mr. M. Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Mr. Om Birla also graced the function by their presence. Several Union Ministers, Members of Parliament of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were also among the present dignitaries.
The extraordinary talent displayed by the children in the fields of singing, dance & music and their spirited performances created a spell binding effect on the dignitaries present. Through the programme, the divyang children gave a fitting example of ability in disability. The programme was very much appreciated by the Members of Parliament. Later the high dignitaries interacted with divyangjan who performed at the event and blessed them.
A similar cultural programme was also earlier organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment at Rashtrapati Bhawan in April, 2019.
