Director General of Military Operations, Lt Gen A K Bhatt Thursday spoke to his Pakistani counterpart and conveyed India’s concerns over movement of terrorists along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.
The conversation comes amid killing of two terrorists in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district. Army sources said the DGMO expressed concern regarding the movement of terrorists
noticed along the Line of Control.
Pakistani DGMO was also informed about the repatriation of two Pakistani nationals apprehended in Uri. The individuals will be repatriated through Wagah border Friday.
The NIA had yesterday handed over two Pakistani youths to the army whom it had arrested in connection with last year’s terror attack on the military base in Uri that had killed 19 soldiers.
