The Anti-Corruption Branch(ACB) of the Delhi government will today question officials of the public works department, PWD in connection with its probe in an alleged PWD scam.

Earlier six PWD officials were quizzed, now anti-graft body has called more officials today for questioning. They will be probed on the process followed to clear the bills and whether there was pressure on them to clear the bills.
The ACB had last week registered three separate FIRs in the scam, including one against the company of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s late brother-in-law Surender Kumar Bansal.

The FIRs have been registered on the basis of a complaint filed by founder of Roads Anti-Corruption Organisation (RACO) Rahul Sharma alleging irregularities in the grant of contracts for roads and sewer lines in Delhi in 2015-16.

In another case ACB has summoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s private secretary on Wednesday in connection with its probe in the alleged Rs 400 crore tanker scam. The anti-graft body may question sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra again today in this regard.

Yesterday, Mr Mishra had accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of laundering money and having hawala links. He also alleged that Mr Kejriwal and his close aides are involved in converting black money into white. He had said that he will visit CBI office today with evidence in the matter to register an FIR.
