The death toll due to sun stroke has gone up to 755 as the heat wave conditions continued to prevail despite the slight dip in day temperatures in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,. The disaster management officials informed that large number of deaths reported from different district yesterday taking the death toll in Andhra Pradesh to 551. Maximum 104 deaths reported from Guntur district in the past few days followed by East Godavari with 90, Visakhapatnam with 84 deaths. The maximum temperature of 46.8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Jangameswarapuram of Prakasam district yesterday. Tuni of East Godavari District recorded 46.3 and Kakinada recorded 46.1 during the past 24 hours.

In Telangana, the death toll rose to 204 with five more death reported during the past 24 hours. The maximum temperature of 44.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Raagundam and 44.4 degrees at Nizamamabad yesterday. Meanwhile, Met officials issued heat wave warning for the two Telugu states for two more days.
