Curfew has been re-imposed in Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam towns in Jammu and Kashmir and restrictions in all South Kashmir areas continues today.

The curfew will continue in Anantnag town with restrictions Under Section 144 to remain. DIG Police North Kashmir Uttam Chand told media that curfew-like restrictions will remain in force in North Kashmir’s Baramula, Bandipura and Kupwara districts.

Normal life remains paralised on the 21st consecutive day today across Kashmir. Reports of clashes between protestors and security personnel were received from various South Kashmir areas and Srinagar parts yesterday.
