1,344 new cases of COVID-19 recorded during the last 24 hours in Gujarat. The recovery rate has further improved to 82.43 per cent.
More than 31,45,000 tests have been carried out in the State till date. Out of 1,344 new cases, the maximum 275 new cases reported from Surat. Total cases of COVID-19 in the State have gone up to 1,10,971.
While, 91,470 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospitals. At present, 16,318 active cases in the State, out of which 94 patients are on ventilator. 16 patients have lost their lives yesterday.
Meanwhile, Western Railway will run special trains between Somnath- Veraval and Ahmedabad to accommodate the students of NEET examination. Ahmedabad metro will also run its services from 7 am to 7 pm tomorrow due to NEET exam.
