COVID-19 recovery rate has reached 97.58 percent in Bihar. So far 2.46 lakh COVID-19 patients have recovered from the pandemic. According to the State health bulletin, the number of active cases is also declining and now it stands at 4708.
In the past 24 hours, 622 new cases have been reported across the state. With this the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state so far rose to around 2.53 lakh.
Meanwhile, preparation is in full swing to open colleges and schools of higher classes from 4th of next month. The state government has laid down the regulatory norms to open these educational institutions. The state education department will distribute 73 lakh face masks among students as a safety measure. Each student will get two face masks in this drive.
