AMN / NEW DELHI

Congress today questioned the justification of conducting Income Tax raids on opposition leaders at a time when the country is in the midst of holding elections.

Addressing a media conference in New Delhi, senior Congress leader Anand Sharma alleged that BJP is spending huge amounts on the party’s electioneering and the ruling party should make public the amount being spent on it.

Mr Sharma also attacked BJP over Rafale aircraft deal demanding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should make public the minutes of the meetings held with him and the former French Prime Minister on the purchase of the aircraft. He also demanded that the ruling dispensation should give a detailed account on the achievements of the NDA government during the last five years.
