Congress MPs today protested in front of Mahatma Gandhi statue in Parliament premises over law and order situation in Punjab. The Members demanded that the state government should be dismissed. Later, talking to media, party vice-president Rahul Gandhi alleged that Punjab government is doing nothing to improve law and order in the state.
Mr Gandhi also targeted the state government for alleged killing of Dalits. The Congress vice-president said during his visit to Assam, he was stopped from entering a temple by RSS people. He said, divisive agenda of the Central government will not work.
