Congress MPs today protested in Parliament House complex demanding a special package for flood-affected North Eastern states. Displaying posters, the Parliamentarians raised slogans against the Central government.
Later, party MP Gaurav Gogoi accused the Centre of not giving proper assistance to the people of flood-hit north eastern states. He demanded declaration the floods in these areas as national calamity.
