Congress President Rahul Gandhi today hit out at prime minister Narendra Modi for ignoring common issues of public concern and spreading hatred in the society.

Briefing media in a press conference here today, He said that Congress fought this election on issues of unemployment, farmers’ distress, demonetization, GST and Rafale and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not addressed these issues yet.

“Raising the issues related to public interest is the main strategy of his party in this general election” said Rahul.

Congress President also said, his party has protected the institutions in the country and has played the role of responsible opposition in the last five years.

He said though SP-BSP fought the election together but congress fought with priority to defeat BJP and create a space for itself. He accused the Election Commission of being biased in these elections.
