NEW DELHI: Congress leaders from Bihar are expecting some miracle in the forthcoming state assembly elections. The crowd of ticket seekers for Bihar polls at 24 Akbar Road has so encouraged the congressmen that they are now thinking of forming next government in the state. Congress leader believe that like Uttar Pradesh where Rahul magic worked in parliamentary election it could prove true in Bihar assembly too.


The entry of former RJD, MP and former union minister Akhilesh singh is also seen as good sign  by congressmen.


This time Congress seemed to be serious for Bihar polls. The  party has prepared a long term strategy to assimilate its old vote banks. It is taking every step with extra care. Even showing restrain in accusing Nitish Kumar government. Though  it is talking of corruption in central package and plans, but it take extra care while speaking about minorities and backward castes.


The Muslim votes look  divided among RJD, LJP and JD U. But Congress is not behind appeasing Muslims. Party PCC president is a Muslim.  A veteran  Muslim leader from state Shakil Ahmad is national spokesman of the party. Rahul has recently visited Muslim dominated areas of Bihar. The Congress is yet in quandary over Muslim votes. Congress is now trying to attracted the disgruntled upper caste into its fold. They entry of Akhilesh Singh is part of the strategy. Akhilesh Singh said that he wanted to see congress in stronger position in the state. He  said that he left RJD because it has given share of Muslim and Dalit seat to LJP. In charge for Bihar congress Mukul wasnik said that Nitish government has done grave irregularities in implementing centre schemes in the state. He said that congress will soon prepare a road map for development and progress of Bihar. He hoped that the congress would form next government in Bihar. In current assembly congress has only 10 MLAs.
