Congress party today hit out at RSS leader Manmohan Vaidya’s demand for doing away with caste-based reservations in jobs and educational institutions, saying the ”BJP-RSS anti-Dalit stand stood exposed. The party also asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apologise.
The Congress strongly opposed ‘’such conspiratorial agenda against Dalits and poor,’’ Congress media head Randeep Surjewala said here reacting to Mr Vaidya’s comments made at the Jaipur festival.
Mr Vaidya had called for an end to reservation saying that this provision should not be a permanent feature as it had the effect of promoting separatism and denies equal opportunities to all.
Mr Surjewala said such calls were made by the BJP-RSS leaders before the crucial elections to polarise voters.
Kejriwal calls BJP, RSS anti-Dalits

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today alleged BJP, RSS and SAD of being anti-Dalits and said he won’t allow them to succeed in their motive to end reservation.
Mr Kejriwal’s reaction came after senior ideologue of the RSS Manmohan Vaidya’s statement at Jaipur Literature Festival that reservation of Dalits and OBCs have actually kept them in alienation for long.
Expressing his anger, the Chief Minister in a series of tweets said, “BJP, RSS and SAD are anti-Dalits.
Won’t allow them to succeed in their motive.
” He also said RSS has repeated its stand today that it is against reservation.
