Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed Luo Zhaohui as China’s new Ambassador to India, in accordance with a decision from the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the top legislature. According to the website of the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi.
Luo, 54, was China’s Ambassador to Canada from 2014 to 2016. Former Chinese Ambassador to India Le Yucheng left New Delhi in April, according to the website.
