China could be the partner country in Surajkund Crafts Mela, organised every year in the month of February at the Surajkund Tourist Complex in Faridabad. Haryana Tourism Chief Secretary Sumita Mishra yesterday visited the Surajkund Complex, along with Managing Director of Haryana Tourism Vikas Yadav.
Speaking to media, Ms Mishra said that discussions were continuing for China to be the partner country. She, however, said, the External Affairs Ministry will have the final say on this.
This year, there are four states – Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana and Gujarat – in contest for being the theme state. Mr Mishra said, this time, better facilities will be provided in the Mela compound.
