Union Territory Chandigarh reported 6 more COVID-19 positive cases from Bapu Dham Colony today. Our correspondent reports among six persons reported positive, three males and two females are below the age of 18 and one male is above 53 year old.
With this the number of positive cases reported so far in UT Chandigarh have risen to 288 and out of it 216 positive persons have been reported from Bapudham colony only, which is corona hotspot of the city. Now there are 97 active cases of Covid19 are under treatment.
An official spokesperson said that 46 COVID-19 patients who had been earlier discharged and were in post discharge quarantine centre within Sood Dharamshala have been sent home yesterday. Meanwhile UT administration has declared Sector 38 and Sector 52 non containment zone.
