RijijuUnion Minister of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju has said, the Centre will extend all help to Assam government in tackling terror threat. Talking to media persons in Guwahati last night, Mr Rijiju said, that Centre has been providing all supports to the state in this regard. He said that threat of fundamentalists is not new for the state. Our Correspondent reports that police arrested 11 fundamentalists recently in Chirang and Kokrajhar districts.

Meanwhile, another Union Minister Sarbanand Sonowal has expressed concern on rhino poaching in Assam. He alleged that state government has failed to prevent rhino poaching.

Kiren Rijiju assured that Centre would not allow to grow fundamentalists and other anti social groups in Assam. He however said threat of jehadi fundamentalists is not new to Assam.

Recently police arrested 11 fundamentalists in Chirang and Kokrajhar districts and busted a training camp. Meanwhile, Union Sports minister Sarbanand Sonowal has expressed concerned over rhino poaching in Assam. He alleged state government has failed to prevent poaching.
