Polling for 72 seats will be held on Tuesday

Campaigning for the second and final phase of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, came to an end on Sunday. Polling in 72 constituencies spread across 19 districts will be held on Tuesday in this phase.
On the last day of electioneering, senior leaders of BJP, Congress and other political parties held public meetings at various places to canvass support for their respective candidates. Now the parties and candidates can take up door-to-door campaign before polling.
One thousand seventy nine candidates are in the fray in this phase. Chhattisgarh has 90 assembly segments. Polling for the first phase was held on November 12th in 18 constituencies of the state.
