The high voltage campaigning assembly election in Rajasthan and Telangana came to an end today. Elections in the state will be held on Friday. Top leaders of all major parties made all-out efforts to garner voters’ support for their candidates.

The top leadership of both national and regional parties took part in the electioneering for the past over two weeks seeking votes for their candidates.

Meanwhile, election authorities have made elaborate arrangements to ensure free and fair polling.

Over 2.8 crore electorate will exercise their right to franchise at over 32 thousand eight hundred polling station across the state. A total 1,821 candidates, including 135 women, are contesting in all 119 assembly constituencies.

In Rajasthan, a high-decibel campaign that witnessed hundreds of election rallies and road shows across the state ended this evening.

The state will go to polls on Friday. Both BJP and Congress leaders made last-ditch efforts on the last day of campaigning today to woo voters.

Prime Minister addressed two election rallies at Sumerpur and Dausa. BJP President Amit Shah held a roadshow in Ajmer.

Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot and state Congress Sachin Pilot also addressed public meetings and held road shows across the state.
