Calling the bullet train extremely essential for India, Railway Board chairman Ashwani Lohani has said that the project would unleash technology-driven transportation in the country.
Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Mr Lohani said the bullet train will be a medium of rapid transport that will run at par with air travel in terms of speed. He added that the railway was hopeful of completing the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Train Project by December 2022.
