Uttar Pradesh police yesterday claimed to have arrested 3 main accused of alleged cow slaughter case and two persons wanted in the case of Bulandshahr violence.

According to media reports police after getting intelligence input, a police team from Bulandshahr conducted raids and arrested three main accused in alleged cow slaughter case that took place in Syana on 1st and 2nd December. Police also recovered a rifle, a sharp edged weapon and a four wheeler from the accused which was used in the cow slaughter. During interrogation all 3 arrested accused confessed to their involvement in the incident.

So far, total 19 persons have been arrested in the Syana violence case in which one police inspector and a villager were killed. Two persons were arrested yesterday while one accused related to the violence case surrendered on 16th december.

Meanwhile, two separate FIRs have been lodged in the matter. First FIR was filed for alleged cow slaughtering while second was lodged in the killing of Police Inspector and a villager.
