State run telecom company, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) on Saturday said it has enabled its BharatFibre partners to collect online bill payments.

BSNL’s has come up with this facility a say before the Telecom Day,b which is globally celebrated on May 17.

The BSNL has also launched a “Special” app through which entrepreneurs can tie up for its agents to become an online channel partner of BSNL. Here the partner onboarding and verification process would be undertaken online.

After one completes the onboarding process, the same app could be used for collecting fixed line bills from customers. The BSNL also stated that it would introduce new features after getting the feedback.

Vivek Banzal, Director CFA of BSNL Board said: “On the eve of world telecom day, BSNL has upgraded the technology platform for its pan-India BharatFibre Partners so that their revenue share shall be credited much faster to their bank accounts, for customers making online payments, thereby encouraging more entrepreneurs to join BSNL in the partnership model”.
