A day after its jawan was injured by a sniper, the BSF today said it has killed at least three Pakistan Rangers after the other side indulged in unprovoked firing along the Indo-Pak international border in Jammu.

A BSF spokesperson told media in Jammu that the forces across the border resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in Pargwal and Arnia sectors this afternoon.

The BSF troops guarding the border retaliated the fire effectively and in the exchange of fire at least three of the Pakistani Rangers were killed.

Heavy exchange of fire continued uptill this evening.There is no report of any causality or injury to the Indian side.
