Christian James Michel, a British middleman wanted by Indian investigative agencies in connection with the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam, is being extradited to India, reports All India Radio.
Sources who are in the know of the case confirmed the development says the radio.
After the Court of Appeal last month upheld a lower court order which said that Michel could be extradited, he was kept under detention.
Michel is one of three middlemen being probed in the case by Indian investigative agencies in connection with the scam. He is accused of acting as middleman organising bribes in exchange for a contract for VVIP helicopters.
