The Indian Under-17 women’s football team suffered fourth consecutive loss in the annual BRICS tournament on Sunday.
China defeated India 2-1 in the last match in Johannesburg. Besides hosts South Africa, the tournament featured Brazil, Russia, India and China.
The third edition of the tournament was organised by the Sport and Recreation South Africa at Wits University Campus, Johannesburg.
The inaugural BRICS tournament was held in Goa, India, in 2016. The second edition was held in Guangzhou, China in June last year.
