Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked people of Tripura to vote for the BJP and alliance partner so that each and every penny disbursed from the Centre reach the people of the state.
Addressing an election rally in Agartala, Mr. Modi said, BJP’s HIRA (Highways, Internet ways, Railways and Airways) model is a cornerstone to create job opportunities for the people of the state. He said, people of Tripura have announced that they want a full majority government of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
Slamming the previous CPI(M) and Congress governments, he said, the alliance partners have their eye on the Budget allocated to the state from the central government. He added that Left, Congress and like-minded parties want to keep people in poverty and increase their own wealth. He urged people of Tripura to stay united for the bright future of their children.
He asserted that the BJP government is walking on the path shown by Maharaj Radhakishore Manikya and Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.
He said, BJP is the first choice of youth in entire country, Mr. Modi said, adding that BJP gives top most priority to the aspirations of youth.
He said, Triple III-T, Law University, International Buddhist University and many more educational institutions have come up under the double-engine government in Tripura. Not only that, her said, the first dental college, Atal Bihari Regional Cancer Hospital too came up in the BJP government.
Pointing towards Congress and CPM being at loggerheads in Kerala, he said these two parties have become friends in Tripura. Mr. Modi said, BJP-led government worked as a servant and did not discriminate when it comes to development.
