Senior BJP leader and Railways Minister Piyush Goyal today expressed confidence that BJP would win the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls and once again form the government at the Centre.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Goyal said the central government has brought unprecedented development and improved living standards of lots of people. He said road and rail networks have become more robust, with an unprecedented amount of money allotted for the development of suburban trains in Mumbai.
Listing infrastructural achievements, Mr. Goyal talked about Bogibeel Bridge, the longest road-cum-rail bridge in Asia. Expressing BJP’s commitment to provide a majboot (strong) government, the minister said internal security has been strengthened by dealing with Maoists and Naxals with an iron hand.
