VINIT WAHI / NEW DELHI

BJP staged a walkout from Delhi Assembly today, accusing AAP government of avoiding discussion on the issue of air pollution and other matters related to public interest. When the House met this morning, on the first day of a three day session, BJP MLAs started sloganeering against the Delhi government and later staged a walk out from the House. AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar alleged that BJP members do not want to take part in the discussion on bus marshals issue which is why they walked out from the House.

Talking to media outside the assembly, Leader of Opposition, Vijender Gupta alleged that the AAP government is not willing to have a discussion of the issues like air pollution. He said pollution in the city has increased at alarming levels and people of the national capital expect that the assembly should hold a discussion on it.
