BJP logoBJP has demanded BSP Chief Mayawati to tender an apology in connection with abusive language used by her party leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui against expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh’s daughter.

The party also asked her to take action against her leader for his comments.

BJP secretary, Shrikant Sharma said in New Delhi that his party took Singh’s slur against Mayawati very seriously and expelled him from the party but she is justifying Siddiqui’s derogatory language which is condemnable. He said, the BSP Chief should not do politics over it.

In Uttar Pradesh, the family of expelled BJP leader has lodged a case against BSP​ leaders for abusing and publicly tarnishing the dignity of his female family members while protesting.

Mrs Tetra Devi, mother of Dayashankar Singh, said that the family had nothing to do with politics and his statement.She alleged that her 12 year old granddaughter is in trauma and the family fears life threat from BSP workers and its leaders.

She said that raising the highly inappropriate slogans in the protest rally were not possible without permission of Party Chief Ms. Mayawati.

UP BJP has severely criticised the foul language of the BSP workers against the women of Dayashankar Singh’s family.

In a statement issued to media, state BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya demanded that Mayawati should have dismissed Nasimuddin Siddiqui as leader of opposition in Vidhan Parishad taking cognizance of misconduct which happened on behest of Siddiqui. He also demanded his arrest.
