Karnataka state BJP President B S Yeddyurappa has refuted allegations made by former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah that BJP is indulging in horse trading to dislodge the Congress-JD(S) coalition Government in the state.
Addressing media persons in Bengaluru yesterday, he dismissed the statement made by Siddaramaiah that a sum of 25 to 30 crore rupees is being offered to the Congress MLAs.
He however added that there is no need to topple the coalition Government as it is going to fall on its own due to simmering discontentment within Congress and also due to trading of charges between the coalition partners. When asked whether BJP will stake claim to form the Government if the present Government falls, Yeddyurappa replied in the affirmative.
