BJP National President J. P. Nadda is holding a meeting with Assam BJP office bearers at Amingaon in Guwahati now. Party sources told our correspondent that Mr. Nadda reached Guwahati this evening from Silchar. Around eight thousand artists and party workers welcomed him in the airport.
Later tonight, Mr. Nadda will hold meetings with the party’s Election Committee and Core Committee to discuss election strategy for the upcoming Assembly polls. Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal, Party’s National General Secretary (Organisation) B L Santosh and other senior leaders are attending the meetings. The visit of Mr. Nadda will intensify the BJP’s election preparation in Assam.
