A two-day meeting of BJP Office bearers and National Executive began in New Delhi Sunday. On the first day, party’s national office bearers, state chiefs and other key organizational leaders reviewed the organisational’s works.

Talking to reporters, Party General Secretary Bhupendra Yadav informed that party President Amit Shah during the meeting, said that Central and BJP ruled State governments have worked on tackling the menace of corruption. Mr Shah said, it has benefited the common man and the poor.

Mr Shah also lauded the efforts of party workers in expanding the organisational base. Mr Bhupendra Yadav also informed that the meeting appreciated the visits of Amit Shah in different states for expansion of party base. He said, the meeting also resolved to carry on the pledge of Swachh Bharat and New India.

On the second day, all BJP lawmakers besides its core group leaders and party’s senior leadership from states will participate in the national executive meet tomorrow which coincides with the birth anniversary of BJP ideologue Deendayal Upadhyay. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the valedictory address during the event in the evening. The party national executive is expected to pass resolutions on political and economic issues and will bring out a road map of the government for the next one and half year.
