BJP MPs today protested in the Parliament House complex against Chief Ministers of the Congress-ruled state. Displaying posters, the ruling party members demanded the dismissal of Chief Ministers of Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh following corruption charges against them.

Talking to media, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar held Congress responsible for the ongoing logjam in Parliament. He said, from the day one, the government is ready for discussion on every issue but the opposition party is running away from it. Mr. Javadekar said, disruption of proceedings in both the Houses is sending a wrong signal.

Meanwhile, BSP Chief Mayawati took a dig at BJP protest. She told media outside Parliament that instead of staging dharna, the ruling party should call for the resignations of its leaders who have violated the law in Lalit Modi scandal and Vyapam scam to pave the way for smooth functioning of Parliament.

JD(U) Chief Sharad Yadav wondered over the BJP MPs protest and said it is an amazing behaviour.
