Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said, BJP is not in politics for divide and rule or building vote banks unlike other parties but to serve the nation.
He was interacting with BJP booth workers from Tamil Nadu’s Mayiladuthurai, Perambalur, Sivaganga, Theni and Virudhunagar through video conferencing.
Mr Modi said, there are opportunist alliances and dynastic parties who want to build their own empires whereas BJP wants to empower the people.
He stressed that he is confident that BJP will do well in forthcoming Lok Sabha elections because of the BJP party workers who keep reaching out to so many people.
The Prime Minister said it is only in the BJP that a person born to a socially backward and economically poor family can think of reaching the top. He said, Tamil Nadu is famous for its textile industries and his government has taken steps to boost the sector specifically.
Mr Modi added that it is a wrong perception that Ease of Doing Business helps only big companies as it also helps MSME sector and small businesses.
