BJP today criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over budget row and accused him of levelling allegations against the centre to cover up his own mistakes. Addressing the media, Delhi BJP Working President Virendra Sachdeva alleged that the Delhi Chief Minister purposely hid the file asking resubmission for three days. He also demanded a clarification from Mr Kejriwal on how many meetings were held with the concerned officials regarding the budget.
Speaking on the matter, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said that if chief minister Kejriwal wastes the tax money of the people of Delhi, then the Lieutenant Governor has every right to object to it. BJP also criticised Mr Kejriwal for announcing the date for budget presentation at the Delhi Assembly before getting the Centre’s approval as per rule.
