BJP on Wednesday took a dig at Congress vice President Rahul Gandhi for his remarks on India’s ranking in world Bank report on ease of doing business.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, senior party leader and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad asked Mr Gandhi whether he understands the implication of ease of doing business.

He urged the Congress leader to respect institutions like World bank and does not make mockery. Mr Prasad said, world bank is independent body and its does not work under any pressure. He said, the report is not sponsored by BJP or its government.

Addressing an election rally in Gujarat Mr Gandhi dismissed the World Bank report on India’s improved ‘ease of doing business’ status and asked Finance Minister to meet small traders to understand the reality.
