New Zealand’s socially conservative finance chief Bill English is sworn in as the country’s new prime minister following last week’s resignation of his predecessor John Key. With degrees in commerce and literature, Mr. English has been in parliament since 1990.
Under his tenure as finance minister, the nation has become one of the fastest growing countries of the triple-A rated economies.
