One Special Task Force jawan was killed in an encounter with Maoists in Lakhisarai district of Bihar today. The incident occurred during wee hours in Ghogharghatti forest area under Kajra police station.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Kumar Mandal of Bhagalpur district. Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar told media that some Maoists have also injured in the encounter. He said combing operation has been intensified to nab the Maoists.
