Rail traffic on the Hajipur- Bachhwara- Barauni section of East Central Railway (ECR) in Bihar has been restored today.
The rail service on this section was disrupted since Sunday following derailment of 11 Boogies of the Seemanchal Express at Sahadai Buzurg station in Hajipur in which six passengers were killed.
Chief Public Relations Officer Rajesh Kumar said all mail, express, MEMU and other passengers trains were restored this morning. All trains passing through the route are now running on their scheduled time.
Meanwhile Railway today started inquiry into rail accident following instructions of Railway board. Commissioner of Rail Safety (CRS) of East Circle Latif Khan visited the accident site and collected information in this regard.
He will also talk to eye witnesses of rail accident on February 6 and 7.After that CRS will submit his report to railways
