RJD President Lalu Prasad and JD(U) Chief Sharad Yadav today met Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav in New Delhi to persuade him to reconsider his decision to contest upcoming Bihar assembly elections alone.
Yesterday, Samajwadi Party had accused the Maha Gathbandhan leaders of ignoring it on seat sharing plan and announced that it will fight Bihar assembly elections on its own.
Mr Sharad Yadav told reporters after the meeting that the issue will be resolved within two days. He said, there is no threat to their grand alliance and it is intact. Yesterday, Mr Yadav had also met Mulayam Singh Yadav over the issue.
