One of the key accused in planting bomb on tracks near Kanpur Dehat in Pukhrayan Gajendra Sharma surrendered before a Raxaul court in East champaran district of Bihar.
The court remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days. Superintendent of Police Suresh Choudhary said the court is being requested to take him on police remand.
It is suspected that he was also involved in planting IED near Ghorasahan- Raxaul rail track along the Indo-Nepal border on October 1 last year.
About 150 passengers were killed following derailment of Indore- Patna Express on November 21 last year.
Police arrested two more persons Deepu kumar and Suraj Kumar from Chhoradano in East Champaran district for their alleged involvement in Nakardei rail track blast.
