A journalist was shot dead by unidentified criminals in Samastipur district Tuesday. Samastipur SP Nawal Kishore Prasad Singh said, around 5 to 6 unidentified men opened fire at journalist Braj Kumar Singh, killing him on the spot.
Braj was associated with a prominent Hindi daily. A massive manhunt is being carried out to nab criminals. Earlier, Dharmendra Singh, a journalist of a prominent vernacular daily, was shot dead in Rohtas district in November last year. Hindi daily Hindustan’s Siwan bureau chief Rajdeo Ranjan was shot dead in Siwan district in May, 2016.
