Tej horse ridingPATNA: Even as Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival struggling to check pollution in national capital, Bihar Health and Environment minister Tej Pratap has come up with a new idea. He asked people to ride horse to make roads clean from vehicular pollution and frequent traffic jams.

Minister who is elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, himself rode a horse for a short distance in Patna to the city on Friday.

Tej Pratap came out on a horse from his parents’ 10 Circular Road residence and went up to 5, Deshratna Marg, the bungalow which has been allotted to his younger brother and deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav (26). But Tejashwi is yet to move to the new bungalow and is still staying with his parents at 10 Circular Road.

On December 21, the Patna high court asked the state government to file a detailed report on the issue of ‘excessive noise pollution’ in the state capital and other towns.

A division bench of the court comprising acting chief Justice Iqbal Ahmed Ansari and Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh, while hearing a petition filed by one Samir Kumar, also sought to know from the counsel of the state government the mechanism to control noise pollution in the state.
