Bihar is witnessing a sharp decline in fresh COVID cases. The state’s recovery rate has risen to around 95 per cent, while the test positivity rate has declined to 1.97 per cent. Positivity rate has come down below two per cent after 48 days in the state. The number of active cases is also decreasing and presently stands at 30 thousand 992.
Over six lakh 62 thousand people have so far recovered from the infection. Two thousand 603 fresh COVID cases were reported in the state during the last 24 hours and six thousand 641 people recovered yesterday. Over one crore two lakh people have been vaccinated in the state so far.
