Eight passengers are feared charred to death after a bus while on the move, suddenly caught fire in Nalanda on Thursday. The incident took place at Vishwakarma Chowk under Harnaut police station in the district, which is around 60 kilometres from the state capital Patna.
Harnaut police station SHO Sanjay Kumar said that around ten bodies have been spotted inside the ill-fated bus. “The bodies are yet to be taken out from the charred bus only after which exact count of the passengers that died, could be ascertained,” he said.
He said that the bus was travelling from Patna to Shiekhpura.
